Visualization, Projection and Engineering Drawing

A drawing is a projection from a 3-D object to a 2-D paper. There are many different projection approaches.

Engineering drawing is a parallel, orthographic, multi-view projection. It includes six orthographic principal views, which are front, rear, top, bottom, right-side and left-side views. A six-view drawing of the third angle projection is given as an example.
